My Story

Since I was a kid, I have had a camera in my hand. My dad was an avid shutterbug who had a good sense of history and new when an important moment was at hand.

I like to think I inherited that good visual sense and was able to transform it into a career in photojournalism and broadcast television.

I have worked for a wide range of corporate clients, news organizations and broadcast networks as a freelancer including: Indianapolis Star, United Press International, Associated Press, ESPN, Speed TV, Outdoor Life Network, The Learning Channel, CBS to name a few.

I have transitioned to teaching high school students photography and the visual arts at the Simon Youth Academy in Indianapolis. Teaching is new to me, but I have throughly enjoyed the experience while still trying to keep my own shooting skills sharp.

Education:

I was blessed with enough talent and opportunity early on that work became my school and earning my degree was put aside to life experience. However, I'm still in pursuit and at 62 years old I almost have bachelor's in Journalism

Almost.

Hopefully I will earn that degree before the nursing home calls me. In the meantime, I've still got the energy, and the eyes to capture the moment.
